Harry Smith Third-year animation student at the University of Hertfordshire. Would sell my left leg to be able to animate for a living. Or right. I'm open to negotiation! Harryrogersmith@gmail.com
I'm Harry Smith, a 20 year-old animation student from Guildford, England. I've just started my third year of my 3D Animation degree at the University of Hertfordshire and I'm loving every moment of it. I might have mentioned it before but I really, really love animation. I grew up on the classic Chuck Jones and Hanna-Barbera cartoons and spent a lot of my teenage years creating terrible animations for websites like Newgrounds and Youtube, using only Windows Movie Maker and MS Paint. Eventually I cottoned on that this probably wasn't the best way to go about doing it and moved onto Flash, where I continued to make some pretty naff stuff. Skip forward 6 years later and when I started at the University of Hertfordshire in September 2014 I made the jump into the big, bad world of 3D animation. Aside from sitting around animating all day, I love to play games, to watch as many different kinds of films as possible, to film and edit my own and to travel around the world. I really enjoy experiencing new cultures and ways of life, and I'd love to work abroad in the future too. I have experience in Maya, Flash, Photoshop, Premiere, Nuke, Mari and Arnold. Oh, and MovieMaker.
